As part of Tauranga Moana Pride Week, Curves O Plenty are thrilled to present Queerly Talented — a Rainbow talent quest celebrating the creativity, diversity, and brilliance of our local Rainbow community.Queerly Talented welcomes all forms of entertainment, including dance, music, song, spoken word, comedy, drag, and more. This year we have an exciting line-up of 12 talented artistes representing a wide range of performance disciplines.
The event is a celebration of the extraordinary talent within our Rainbow community. Our aim is to support, showcase, and celebrate Queer artists while inviting the wider Tauranga Moana community to come along and enjoy the incredible talent on display. To encourage family, friends, and supporters to attend and cheer on their people, Queerly Talented is a PG-rated event.
We are delighted to announce that Richard O’Brien of Rocky Horror fame will join us as part of our celebrity judging panel. The judges will select the Queerly Crowned winner, alongside a Queerly Chosen (People’s Choice) award voted for by the audience.
Thanks to our generous partners listed below, we are able to keep ticket prices accessible at $10 (+ ticket costs) per person, with a 25% discount for groups of four or more.
