Part of The Incubator Creative Hub and in collaboration with our Creative Community Campus, the Village Community Cinema presents our CREATIVE COMMUNITY CINEMA programme! Bring your crafty projects for a night of creative crafts and arts inspired film.
Over three events from the 6th - 20th May, come to one, come to all – this is a club you don’t want to miss out on!
SHOWING UP is a quiet, character‑driven comedy‑drama about the everyday life of an artist balancing creativity with the small, persistent demands of real life. At its core, it follows Lizzy, a sculptor preparing for an upcoming exhibition while navigating family tensions, artistic insecurities, and the frustrations of her unreliable landlord — who also happens to be a more socially successful fellow artist. Released by A24 and nominated for the Palme d'Or, starring Michelle Williams, André 3000 & Hong Chau.
