Queer youth book chat at Hobart Library
About this Event
New queer youth led book chat is here!
Bring along your favourite queer fantasy or sci-fi read and join a relaxed, welcoming space to chat. Share your ideas and connect with other young people. Whether you’re into novels, memoirs, comics, or anything in between, all interpretations of “queer text” are welcome.
📅 When: Monday 29 June, 4:30–5:30pm
📍 Where: Hobart Library, Literacy Room (Level 1)
🎯 Theme: Queer Fantasy & Sci-Fi
👥 Who: Senior secondary students (ages 15–19)
🎟 Spots: Limited to 12 participants
Snacks provided and the vibe is low key and friendly. There’s no pressure - just come along, listen and chat as much or as little as you like.
