Join Fullers Bookshop for a special evening celebrating the best in recent Tasmanian historical writing. The three shortlisted authors for the prestigious biennial Dick and Joan Green Family Award for Tasmanian History, Stefan Petrow, Angela Baker, and Alistair Scott, will be in conversation with award judge Alessandro Antonello from the University of Tasmania, discussing their research, writing journeys, and the stories that have shaped our understanding of Tasmania’s past.
This event offers readers the opportunity to hear directly from the authors shortlisted in one of Australia’s premier awards for historical research and writing, gain insight into the craft of historical scholarship, and explore the enduring relevance of history and historical fiction in contemporary life.
The evening will conclude with the announcement of the winner of the 2026 Dick and Joan Green Family Award for Tasmanian History.
