About this Event

🌈 Queer Pickleball Night: Rainbow Rally! 🌈
Sponsored by Limestone Clinic Kingston Counselling & Psychotherapy

Looking for a fun, welcoming way to meet other LGBTQIA2S+ folks while getting a little exercise? Come join us for Rainbow Rally!

This isn't your typical pickleball tournament. Instead of playing with the same partner all night or worrying about individual rankings, everyone is randomly assigned to one of six Pride Teams:

❤️ Red
🧡 Orange
💛 Yellow
💚 Green
💙 Blue
💜 Violet

Throughout the evening, you'll rotate partners and opponents every round, meeting lots of new people while earning points for your team's colour. Every game helps your team, and by the end of the night one Pride Team will be crowned our Rainbow Rally Champions!

Our goal is simple: community first, pickleball second. We want everyone to have lots of games, lots of laughs, and lots of opportunities to connect with new people. Friendly competition? Absolutely. Intense, win-at-all-costs energy? Not tonight.

A few things to know
  • Basic pickleball knowledge is recommended.
  • This is not a lesson night.
  • You do not need to come with a partner.
  • Bring your own paddle, or rent one from the front desk.
  • Bring or buy a drink—hydration is your friend!
  • Please register individually, even if you're coming with friends. We limit registration to one ticket per person so we have everyone's contact information and can communicate important event updates if needed.
  • Attendance is important. With only 24 spots available, we need full courts to keep the event running smoothly. If your plans change, please let us know as soon as possible so someone else can join. If you are your friends/partner all want to come, please check with each other to ensure you're not double-reserving spots.

Whether you've been playing for years or you only recently discovered that pickleball is surprisingly addictive, you're welcome here.

You do not need to be an amazing player.

You do not need to be ultra-competitive.

You definitely do not need matching athletic outfits. But if you wanna, we're not stoppin ya.

You just need to be ready to move, laugh, cheer on your team, and spend an evening with some wonderful humans.

No pressure. No elimination brackets. No pickleball drama.

Just good people, good games, and the chance to help your Pride Team bring home the Rainbow Rally title.

We can't wait to see which colour takes the crown. 🌈

Gay Agenda - Part 2 - Have Fun & Connect
Host: Dr Kris

Info: For our Summer 2026 Queer Pickleball Nights, we're shaking things up with Rainbow Rally!

When you arrive, you'll be randomly assigned to one of six Pride Teams: ❤️ Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, or Violet. Throughout the evening you'll rotate partners and opponents every round, earning points for your team's colour instead of playing for individual rankings.

We designed this format intentionally. By mixing up partners and keeping the focus on team points, everyone gets the chance to meet lots of new people, play with a variety of skill levels, and contribute to their team's success. It's a little less "sports league" and a lot more "queer community hangs out while accidentally becoming emotionally invested in Team Orange."

Whether you're brand new to our events or you've been before, you'll never be stuck playing with the same partner all night. The rotating format helps keep the evening social, welcoming, and especially friendly for people coming on their own.
