About this Event
Did you know... 1 in 5 people with endo have lost or quit a job at some point during their life because of the disease? 1 in 10* girls, women, & unmeasured numbers of two-spirit, transgender & gender-diverse people live with endo (*at least)? 9 in 10 young people who miss school due to endo symptoms do so because their periods are too painful?
We want to make an impact on the research, and awareness of Endometriosis through the art of drag and burlesque. On August 21st, join us for a fun, camp, raw, emotional and artistic set of performances related to endometriosis and painful periods. Period is not a bad word, and we're ready to talk about it! We're raising money for the Endometriosis Network of Canada, you can find more about their work HERE.
