A fusion dance for queer folks and enthusiastic allies. Welcoming new dancers, old friends, and all Nerds alike!
Fusion dance is a partner dance style that combines elements from different partner dance genres to create a unique, hybrid movement. Anything (safe and considerate) goes. It’s less about "getting the steps right" and more about exploring connection.
Nerdy costumes encouraged, but wear whatever makes you feel most magical! 🧙‍♀️ 🧚‍♀️ 🧜‍♀️ 🦄 🐉
Never partner danced before? No sweat! We will start the evening with a beginner’s lesson taught by Madison LD and a continuation lesson by Mitch IR!
Doors at 7:00
Lessons at 7:30
Fusion dancing from 8:30 until midnight! 🪩
More about the Beginner's class:
A welcome session to fusion dancing. We will focus on the basics of partner dancing, finding musical connection, partner communication and consent. With a deep dive into how we ask someone to dance, accepting and declining gracefully and how to get out on a dance floor.

This is a queer-centered event. If you are not queer or an *enthusiastic* ally please stay home. We will not tolerate bigotry of any kind. This event is for queers to feel irrevocably confident about being who they are and to feel safe learning how to partner dance.
Door is a suggested donation of $15-20. NOTAFLOF.
