Queen Mother: Falaka Fattah and the House of Umoja will host the Philadelphia premiere of the feature length documentary.
About this Event

In 1969, journalist Falaka Fattah, learned that her 16 year old son was in a gang. To save her son's life, she invited the gang to live with her. She and her husband, David Fattah, started a peace movement and Boys Town that changed Philadelphia.

At 94 years old, Queen Mother Falaka Fattah shares her story.

The film is directed by Jos Duncan-Asé, edited by Jason Pollard, and co-produced by them both.
