Step aboard the Train at Hamilton Prop House as we journey back to one of the most celebrated moments in modern royal history — the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. 👑☕🚂

Inspired by the grand afternoon teas enjoyed across the British Commonwealth in June 1953 — and revived again during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations 70 years later — this elegant Tea on the Train brings together nostalgia, tradition, and a touch of royal splendour.

Drawing inspiration from official Palace recipes and beloved British tea party classics, we have curated a menu fit for royalty featuring:

🥪 An assortment of traditional tea sandwiches
🥐 Savoury pastries and classic British flavours
🍓 Her Majesty’s beloved jam pennies
🫖 Fresh scones with whipped cream and house-made preserves
🍰 A selection of sweet surprises worthy of the crown

Our tea pairings will include Earl Grey, famously among the late Queen’s favourite teas, thoughtfully served in vintage china aboard our vintage train.

And of course… should you wish to celebrate in true royal fashion, guests may add a little sparkle to the afternoon with bubbles or a cocktail from the bar. 🥂✨
