Delaware Shakespeare invites you to a new community gathering: the Del Shakes Book Club, a quarterly reading series hosted in Wilmington, DE!
Each quarter, we’ll read a book inspired by Shakespeare and come together for an in-person conversation over snacks and wine. Conversations will be guided by a literary or Shakespearean expert and/or community member.
Our inaugural read is Hamnet by Maggie O’Farrell, the acclaimed novel inspired by the life and family of William Shakespeare. The conversation will be facilitated by Mariah Ghant, Delaware Shakespeare Producing Artistic Director.
Cost: Pay-what-you-can; $20 suggested donation
