Our Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF) is a comprehensive two day course designed for those who care for babies and children. The qualification meets the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements for paediatric first aid and is widely recognised for childcare and education settings.
Delivered at our training centre in Bletchley, Milton Keynes, the course combines clear teaching with hands on practice using professional training equipment. Participants learn how to recognise emergencies, provide immediate first aid, and support children safely until professional help arrives.

What You Will Learn
During the course you will develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to respond to a range of emergencies involving babies and children, including:
• Roles and responsibilities of a paediatric first aider
• Assessing incidents safely
• Managing an unresponsive infant or child
• CPR for babies and children
• Safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
• Choking in infants and children
• Seizures and febrile convulsions
• Severe bleeding and shock
• Burns and scalds
• Allergic reactions and anaphylaxis
• Asthma and breathing difficulties
• Minor injuries such as cuts, bruises, and bumps
