Alexandra Douglas Doss has been in the poultry field for over a decade but has been raising birds since she was a child. She started raising parrots and expanded to poultry and game birds in college. She graduated with a Bachelor Science degree in Animal Sciences with a Pre-Vet and Poultry Option in 2009. Her fascination with her first coturnix quail from her avian embryology class led to her owning a farm after college. For over a decade, she has been researching, learning new things, and utilizing her college knowledge on raising animals on her homestead, specializing in quail and emu.We meet in person the 3rd Monday of every month 6:30 pm at VFW 2811 on Waldo Rd.
