Join us for an exclusive QUAD event featuring legendary designer Peter Comeau, one of Britain's most respected acoustic engineers. This extraordinary day includes the UK debut of the QUAD Platina Amp/Streamer paired with the flagship ESL 2912X electrostatic speakers - making Martins Hi-Fi the first dealer in the country where you can experience this remarkable new system combination.
We're hosting two intimate sessions where you can experience QUAD's complete range whilst learning directly from the man behind some of their most celebrated designs. Choose from 12noon-2pm or 3pm-5pm
What to Expect
Each session begins with Peter's 30-minute presentation covering the QUAD ESL heritage, the revolutionary technology behind electrostatic speakers, and why they've earned such reverence in the HiFi world. You'll discover how the ultra-thin Mylar diaphragm creates lightning-fast response and that signature QUAD sound of exceptionally clean reproduction.
Following the presentation, Peter demonstrates carefully selected tracks showcasing each system's capabilities, then opens the floor for your questions about loudspeaker design, room acoustics, or QUAD's remarkable story.
Two Sessions, Same Exceptional Experience
Session 1 (12noon-2pm) and Session 2 (3pm-5pm): Both sessions feature the UK DEBUT of the QUAD Platina Amp/Streamer paired with the flagship ESL 2912X - the first opportunity anywhere in the UK to hear this remarkable integrated amplification alongside QUAD's ultimate six-panel electrostatic design.
After Peter's presentation and demonstration, you'll also have the opportunity to experience the classic QUAD 33/303 combination with Revela speakers, plus the brand-new QUAD 3 speakers - giving you a complete overview of QUAD's exceptional range.
