Libbie Haraldsen will facilitate the Quilts of Valor (QOV) group here for the Brentwood and Franklin areas at Gina's!
Join us to make Quilts of Valor for our Service Members and Veterans! Libbie will demo a technique or idea each meeting. This time will be a "sit and sew" or pick up and sew at home kits that have been put together and provided by QOV Stars of Tennessee.
The $5 fee to sign up will go towards purchases day of our meeting!
We will be doing a flying Geese lesson on how Lisa Sutherland and Eleanor Burns create them. We have several new people who wanted to learn this method. You will be making a star block for Quilts of Valor. All are welcome!
QOV Stars of Tennessee primarily cover Service Members and Veterans in the Brentwood, Nolensville area but we also provide quilts and help to all of Tennessee and America if needed!
Feel free to bring your sewing machine along with basic sewing supplies. QOV will provide fabric for kits and instructional materials.
