About this Event
Welcome to Bluebird on the Mountain!
Perched atop one of the tallest hilltops in Nashville, Bluebird on the Mountain pairs live music with sweeping sunset views and an unforgettable evening under the stars.
Guests are invited to picnic on the main Observatory grounds, relax on the lawn and enjoy a night of music in a setting unlike any other in the city.
After the performance, weather permitting, the telescope will open for stargazing.

What Your Ticket Includes:
- Admission of one vehicle with a maximum of eight guests.
- Early access to the grounds of Dyer Observatory.
- A complimentary telescope viewing following the concert. (weather permitting)
- Access to premiere singer-songwriters from the Bluebird Cafe.
Tickets typically sell very quickly--often within minutes of going on sale. When ordering tickets, keep refreshing the page if you see "unavailable" - tickets are not officially sold out until you see "sold out."

The Experience
Guests are invited to come early and picnic on the Observatory grounds. We encourage you to bring blankets, low lawn chairs, low tables food and beverages to enjoy the afternoon and evening. Picnicking remains a cherished tradition of Bluebird on the Mountain.
Please note: all picnicking and gathering will take place on the Observatory grounds. Oman Drive is not available for tailgating, picnicking or gathering due to safety concerns.
Join us on the back patio for activities and to take shade as needed throughout the day.
To help us preserve the grounds and ensure a safe and welcoming experience for everyone, we ask that guests respect all posted signage and follow guidance from Dyer staff and Vanderbilt Police representatives.

Entry + Arrival
To support a safe, welcoming and relaxed arrival experience for our community, guests are invited to arrive early.
For this concert, gates open at 4 p.m.
This is a no re-entry event.
Please note:
- Guests may arrive later than the gate opening time.
- Guests may not arrive earlier than the gate opening time. Early arrivals will not be permitted and will be turned away.
- To ensure the safety of all guests, vehicles may not stage, park or unload along any part of Oman Drive.
- All guests must remain in their vehicles until directed to park on the Observatory grounds.
- Individuals arriving separately from the ticket holder, will not be allowed entry.
Parking
Parking at Bluebird on the Mountain is tight and limited. Due to limited turnaround space and traffic flow, walking, rideshare drop-offs and vehicle drop-offs are not permitted.
Please remain in your vehicle until you are directed to your parking spot on the Observatory Grounds by our professional parking crew.
RVs and oversized vehicles are not permitted without prior approval.

Additional Information
- Concerts are rain or shine. In the event of dangerous weather, a postponement and rain date will be announced via email and on our website.
- Dyer is a forrested setting surrounded by Radnor Lake State Park. We highly recommend and encourage guests to bring bug spray and blankets or tarps for seating on the lawn.

Ticket Terms and Conditions
Vanderbilt Dyer Observatory is committed to providing the safest environment possible at its events.
This is a non-smoking facility. Tobacco products and e-cigarettes/vape pens are prohibited. No tents of any kind, open flames, or artificial noise makers are allowed on the premises.
Firearms are strictly prohibited.
Pets, including inside the vehicle, are not permitted. Service animals are welcome.
This ticket is a revocable license. Persons guilty of abusive behavior may be removed from the premises without refund.
No refunds. No exceptions. All sales are final. Event date and time are subject to change without notice or refund.
Vanderbilt Dyer University prohibits spectators from entering the stage area at any point before, during or after a concert.
Ticket holder provides rights to use of image or likeness for photo and video publication by institution or a third party granted access by the institution, captured while attending a university event.
No re-entry is permitted. If you leave the venue, you may not re-enter the event.
