Between Bansberia and Tribeni lies a landscape where myth was written, faith took many forms, and centuries of history still survive in stone, shrine and memory.
Here, the world of Mangal Kavya meets the sacred presence of Jafar Khan Ghazi’s Dargah, while the extraordinary Hanseswari Temple rises with an architecture unlike anything else in Bengal. But this is not simply a journey from one monument to another.
It is a journey through the stories people told, the gods they worshipped, the saints they remembered, and the worlds they built around the river.
For one full day, we will walk through the forgotten layers of Bansberia–Tribeni—following qissa (stories), qasba (the old settlement), and qalam (the written word) to discover a Bengal where histories did not always exist separately, but met, mingled and endured.
