Qigong at Alae - Autumn Taster in Leith, Edinburgh

✨ COME AND EXPERIENCE QIGONG
Perhaps you've heard of Qigong but never quite known what it involves - or you've been curious to experience it for yourself.
This £5 Autumn Taster offers a relaxed introduction to Numinous Flow and the Qigong practices we'll be exploring together at Alae this autumn.
Through gentle warm-ups, flowing and still Qigong forms, breath and mindful awareness, we'll explore a different way of moving - one that invites us to slow down, listen to the body and cultivate balance, vitality and ease.
No previous Qigong experience is needed. The practice is gentle and adaptable, and you're invited to move at your own pace and within your own range of ease.
🪷 Monday 7 September 2026 · 6:30 - 7:30pm · £5
✨ CONTINUE THE PRACTICE
If you enjoy the taster and would like to continue, Qigong at Alae begins the following Monday, 14 September, and runs weekly throughout the Autumn Season until 21 December.
You can join as a drop-in whenever it suits you, explore the practice with a 5-Class Pass, or make Qigong part of your weekly rhythm with the Full Autumn Pass.
There's no obligation to continue - simply come and experience the practice for yourself.

✨ ABOUT THE TEACHER

✨ WHAT TO BRING
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely, and bring a bottle of water.
No special equipment is needed - just bring yourself and a little curiosity. 🪷
✨ THE SPACE & ACCESSIBILITY
The taster takes place at Alae, 100B Constitution Street, Leith, Edinburgh EH6 6AW - a beautiful and welcoming studio in the heart of Leith.
Please note: Alae is located on the third floor of an older building and is accessed via a metal spiral staircase. There is no lift. Unfortunately, this means the studio is not wheelchair accessible and may not be suitable for people who find stairs difficult.
The Qigong practice itself is gentle and adaptable. The session is primarily practised standing, supporting grounding, alignment and connection with the whole body. Some chairs will be available for anyone who needs to sit, pause or adapt part of the practice.
You’re always encouraged to listen to your body, rest when needed and work within your own range of ease.
If you’re unsure whether the space or practice will work for you, please feel free to get in touch before booking.
