Q-MoB Booth @ Collar City Pride Festival (Troy, NY)

Join us as we connect with the most diverse group of men we will interact with all year at the 1st big pride festival in Troy, and endeavor to learn what the favorite activities of Troy queer men are and which of our activities they might enjoy. We will administer a Pride Diversity Survey that helps us understand what kinds of activities men want.

SIGN UP FOR 2 HOUR SHIFT:

1:30-3:30pm Booth Set Up & Kickoff

3:30--5:30pm Booth Staffing Before Dinner

5:30-7:30pm Booth Evening & Take Down/Load Out

WEATHER & & COMMUNICATION: Please check Troy's weather before you leave home so you can make sure you have the right clothing & equipment if conditions change, which they often do the fall. We will only cancel if there is greater than 60% chance of thunderstorms or heavy rain, and we will text you if this happens. We will have a tent to protect you from the rain at our booth, but you should bring:

WHAT TO BRING:

• Raingear
• Comfortable Shoes (that could get wet if it rains)
• Snacks & Water
• A willingness to smile at people, chat with them, & ask if you could do a brief survey with them about their favorite activities

CARPOOLING/RIDE-SHARE: Because parking is very limited at Hudson Shores Park, we strongly encourage carpooling. Carpooling is a great way to get to know your queer neighbors, save money on gas, and help to reduce your carbon footprint and save the planet. If you need a ride or are open to carpooling, please indicate that when you are registering, & our ride coordinator will try to match you with people nearby who are interested in carpooling or offering rides.
