Film screening: “Slovo” House. Unfinished Novel

Part of “Ukraine Revealed” an innovative project to introduce our Capital District community to modern Ukrainian cinematography. Slovo House is a story about a generation of Ukrainian artists persecuted by the totalitarian system, unfolding against the backdrop of one of the largest genocides of the 20th century - the Holodomor.

Film is in Ukrainian with English subtitles.

All proceeds go to humanitarian aid to Ukraine 🇺🇦

Український Культурний Центр запрошує на показ фільму Будинок Слово. Нескінчений Роман - український повнометражний художній фільмрежисера Тараса Томенка — драматична історія українських письменників, яких зібрали в одному будинку під одним дахом, щоб змусити їх працювати в ім'я системи. Історія про те, як комуністичний рай перетворюється на комуністичне пекло.

Цім фільмом ми продовжуємо серію Відкрий Україну щоб ознайомити громаду з сучасним Українським кінематографом.
