Purrs & Poses - Kitten Yoga Class 🧘♀️Join the kittens of All Fur One for a fun and relaxing yoga class led by Laura Porcaro, a Certified Yoga Instructor.
When: Wednesday, October 16th, 2024

The class will be held inside the AFO Rescue facility. You will receive one hour of guided yoga while our resident kittens purr and meditate with you! After class, participants will have 30 minutes to play with our available for adoption kittens and socialize with fellow cat lovers, volunteers, and attendees. Light refreshments will be available after class for Purrs and Poses participants. Please, plan to arrive a few minutes early to settle in before class starts. Wear comfortable clothing and please bring a yoga mat, towel, and any yoga props you may need to be comfortable.
Gentle Yoga for All Levels: a gentle muscle balancing practice accompanied by kittens with an emphasis on creating EASE in the body and mind. Restorative/yin style includes muscle balancing (particularly of the pelvis), relaxation and breathing techniques to calm the nervous system. Stress and pain-relieving!
Bring your own mat(s) (blocks and straps as needed)
Laura Porcaro, at Pink Moon Yoga in Silverton, is an integrated health practitioner who facilitates pain and stress reduction. Her life's work is caring for others with compassion and encouraging and educating them in self-care. Laura utilizes practical, efficient methods that can be easily incorporated into daily routines. Her yoga class will leave you relaxed and stretched!
