Purr Therapy: a sound bath with cats

Important note about this event: Arrive at 7:30 to set up your "nest" using items you bring from home - yoga mat, blanket, pillow, eye mask or anything you need to be comfortable! We have a limited number of chairs for those unable to lay on the floor. The sound bath starts promptly at 7:45 PM and there is no entry after it starts.

Nestled within the cozy confines of our cat rescue sanctuary, Purr Therapy offers a unique sound bath experience designed to nurture both body and soul.

At the heart of our sound bath sessions are the ethereal tones of crystal alchemy bowls. Crafted from pure quartz crystal and infused with intention, these bowls emit frequencies that resonate with the body's energy centers, or chakras, promoting balance and alignment on a deep level. As the vibrations reverberate through the space, you'll feel tensions melt away and a profound sense of calm descend upon you.

Complementing these instruments are the healing frequencies of the purrs from our rescue kitties. Studies have shown that the rhythmic vibrations produced by a cat's purr can promote relaxation, reduce stress, and even lower blood pressure. As our resident feline friends lounge nearby, their gentle purring serves as a natural soundtrack for your journey towards inner harmony and well-being.

This session at our lounge is not just an opportunity for personal renewal but is also a chance to support a worthy cause. All proceeds from our events go directly towards providing our kitties with love, shelter, and veterinary care as they await their fur-ever homes.
