Ribbon Cutting: Purple Period Pantry Launch Join YWCA Charleston for a ribbon cutting on Monday, February 2 at 4:30 PM at the Kitty Dooley Community Enrichment Center as we celebrate the launch of Charleston’s first Purple Period Pantry!
Funded by the City of Charleston’s Hearts of Our Neighborhood grant, this community-powered initiative provides free menstrual hygiene products in accessible locations to promote dignity, health, and menstrual equity.
Community members and media are welcome. Refreshments will be provided, and attendees are encouraged to bring menstrual products to donate in support of this effort.
