When a mother experiences domestic violence, the wounds don’t always end with her. Sometimes, they live in the hearts of the children who witness it.
This year, Silent Cries brings you a deeply moving story of a mother who survived domestic violence and a son who grew up witnessing her pain, searching for answers, and struggling to understand a reality no child should ever have to face.
Why did it happen? Why did she stay? What did he not understand?
Questions left unspoken. Pain that went beyond what the eyes could see. And a mother-son bond that needed healing.
