What you and your puppy will learn
This course follows Kennel Club Puppy Foundation and Good Citizen principles, focusing on building reliable foundations that owners can use at home and out in the real world. Training includes:
• Engagement and focus around distractions
• Name recognition and attention
• Sit, down, stay, stand and recall
• Introduction to loose lead walking
• Calm behaviour and settling
• Basic lead handling and positions beside the handler
• Gentle handling and grooming preparation
• Confidence building and good everyday habits

Classes are carefully managed to keep puppies safe, calm, and learning effectively. There is no on-lead greeting during class time, and owners are given simple, achievable guidance to practise between sessions.
Places are limited to ensure quality instruction and individual support.
