A panel discussion + interactive event to celebrate punk's 50th anniversary. Learn about Hamilton's punk history and its enduring influence.Join us for an evening of local punk history with an interactive panel discussion.
As we near the 50th anniversary of punk, it's more important than ever to come together to learn about Canada's contributions to the punk movement, and to capture this history while we still can.
This talk will feature musician and Punk House proprietor Dave Elley (The Oprhans, the Loudmouths, and more); musician and fan Dave Howitt (The Loudmouths); and musician, radio host, and promoter Lou Molinaro (This Ain't Hollywood).
Moderated by author Liz Worth (Treat Me Like Dirt: An Oral History of Punk in Toronto and Beyond).
Hosted at the Gaba Gaba Gool Club, where you can enjoy a snack while you hang out.
