This is more than a walk.
It is a movement focused on helping survivors rebuild strength, confidence, and purpose after treatment while bringing the community together around hope, encouragement, and action.
Participants will walk a scenic out-and-back course along the Indian Creek Greenway beginning at the pavilion area near the disc golf course off Slaughter Road.
This is a non-competitive event designed for all ages and abilities, including cancer patients, survivors, families, and supporters.
COMMUNITY GREEN SPACE
Friends, families, and spectators are encouraged to bring picnic blankets, folding chairs, coolers, snacks, and tailgate-style setups to gather near the pavilion and cheer on participants throughout the event.
We want this to feel like a true community gathering centered around survivorship and support.
FUNDRAISING
Participants are encouraged to create fundraising pages where friends and family can:
• Sponsor their walk at $0.01 per step
• Make flat donations
• Help raise awareness for cancer survivorship initiatives
