Cost is $225-$350/person, and does not include lodging or food.
Join Jen Friedman and friends to carry forward the beautiful Legacy of Joy and Love gifted to us by Bernie and Adrianna Heideman. This is a camp of Dances of Universal Peace, reveling in just the right amount of irreverence alongside the sacred in order to wake us up to the beauty of Now.
The camp is led by Jen Friedman as Spiritual Director, along with Connie Zareen Delaney, and a team of certified leaders Jessie, Dave Nur al Haqq, Ana Gaby, Douglas, Helga, Robin and Mana’ar.
Puerto Morelos is a small town, on the beach, just south of Cancun. Flights to Cancun from the US/Canada are very affordable. Cost for the camp is $225-$350/person as you can afford and does not include lodging. Registration deadline is January 15th.
We will be dancing in the sand behind a motel right on the beach. We have a shade canopy for the mornings. We have reserved an entire motel for dancers so coming and joining us is super easy. Let us know and we'll help you get a room.
The Puerto Morelos Dance Camp has been meeting since 2002. Founded by Bernie and Adrianna Heideman, it has become a unique tradition attracting a diverse attendance from North America and Canada during those countries’ winter months, and acting as a connecting event with dancers and Dance leaders in Mexico.
The camp also features many offerings from the community that facilitate a deepening experience of connection and the sacred with art, qigong, singing circles, meditation, kirtan, cacao ceremonies, philosophical discussions and of course the beloved Rumi Cafe.
