About this Event

Launch of the Manifesto Press book "Strike" which includes contemporary writings from leading figures of the 1926 General Strike and launch of the Communist Party pamphlet on the history leading up and after the 1926 General Strike. The publications will be introduced by Rob Griffiths, writer, historian and former General Secretary of the Communist Party.

This is an essential event to understand how the 1926 general strike happened, what was its impact in Wales and how it changed working class struggle.
