Public Works Open House

The Village of Glen Ellyn Public Works Department will host its annual Public Works Open House on Wednesday, June 17, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the Public Works Facility, 30 S. Lambert Road. The free family-friendly event gives residents an opportunity to meet Public Works staff, explore Village equipment, and learn more about the services that help keep the community running each day.
Activities will include a can crushing exhibition, equipment demonstrations, and a special Library Storytime at 4:30 p.m. Food and refreshments from Heavenly Hot Dogs and Sunset Slush will also be available for purchase. Attendees are encouraged to bring a donation for the Glen House food pantry as part of the event’s “Hammer Out Hunger” donation drive.
