On May 21st the Longview School District Superintendent Karen Cloninger was arrested on MULTIPLE Charges in relation to the Mark Morris Sexual Assault trial. The Longview School Board has supported the Superintendent, even extending her contract. There has been no action from the Board and Parents and Community Members have been demanding Accountability. This is a Community Protest prior to the Board Meeting at 5:30. The original meeting was Monday but it is Memorial Day. Bring signs if you want but most importantly bring yourself, your students and peacefully request that the Longview School Board, and Karen Cloninger, be held Accountable. You can come anytime after 4 and if you cannot make it, join the Meeting in Person at 5:30. Parking is available at the District Office.The School Board does not believe the Public Cares enough about this incident. Show them otherwise!
