The Michigan League for Public Policy’s annual forum explores bold policies that will create an economy rooted in racial equity. Time is of the essence when it comes to building economic justice in Michigan; we must seize this opportunity to invest in what will create a stronger Michigan.

Our policy forum focuses on Economic Justice for All and we are proud to announce that our 2025 keynote speaker will be Ashleigh Gardere, President of PolicyLink. Over the past two decades, Ashleigh has harnessed the power of collaboration to accelerate systems transformation and equity, and at PolicyLink, she is committed to changing reality for the nearly 100 million people throughout the U.S. living in or near poverty through policy and systems change.

Following the keynote address, a panel of experts will discuss strategies for building economic justice in Michigan, particularly as it relates to housing, healthcare and financial security.

The League’s Public Policy Forum brings together hundreds of individuals who care deeply about building a stronger Michigan for all people–from policymakers to legislators, advocates, educators, members of foundations and community organizations, and other community members and stakeholders.
