The trail design for an upcoming project—the Pettis Avenue Non-Motorized Trail—is finally complete! We’re inviting residents to learn more about the project, the construction timeline, and to speak directly with project engineers at an open-house-style informational meeting:

Planned for construction in 2026, the Pettis Avenue trail will connect a future trail on Cannonsburg Road to existing Ada Township trails that extend to the Forest Hills Eastern campus at Pettis and Knapp Street. The project is part of a larger vision for the Grand River Greenway—a growing network of public parks, trails, and natural areas linking West Michigan communities to the Grand River, from Lowell to the Lakeshore.
