Join us for VIP (Volunteers in Parks) workdays at the Grand River Drive parking lot of Peace Park from 1 to 3 pm.
Volunteers will work with experienced staff to remove invasive species, including Oriental Bittersweet, autumn olive, Japanese barberry, and multiflora rose. These invasive plants aggressively multiply and crowd out native species, creating dense thickets that migratory birds avoid.
Supplies, water, and snacks are provided.
