Public Hearing (City Council): Service Plan Amendment

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Brighton will hold a public hearing regarding an application for a Service Plan Amendment to the Prairie Center Metropolitan District No. 7. The property is generally located to the north of Eagle Boulevard, south of Kite Street and South 35th Avenue, east of South 27th Avenue, and west of Prairie Center Parkway, comprised of all property within the Prairie Center Village I Subdivision. The request is to amend the Service Plan to refund existing debt, extend bond maturity limits, adjust restrictions on new debt issuance, and preserve flexibility for future financing. The property is more specifically located in the southwest quarter of Section 16, Township 1 South, Range 66 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, City of Brighton, County of Adams, State of Colorado.
The City Council will hold a public hearing to consider the application at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 4, 2026. The City Council will hear from City staff, the applicant, and any interested parties and will make a decision on the application thereafter.
