When it comes to occupational health and safety, it’s not enough to focus on the physical – we need to protect and promote the psychological health of our workers. This specialized training takes you step-by-step through a systematic approach to building a safer, more inclusive and mentally healthy workplace.
Our dynamic 21-hour training program provides an experiential learning opportunity to help you gain the tools and inspiration to transform your workplace!
You’ll build practical expertise on psychological health and safety, discover how to assess your workplace and apply analytical tools, and develop a comprehensive, tailored Psychological Health and Safety Management System aligned with the National Standard for Psychological Health and Safety (The Standard). Learn proven approaches to advance workplace mental health and explore key strategies to win buy-in from leadership.
Gain skills and tools to implement The National Standard
Prepare to develop a Psychological Health and Safety Management System
Establish long-term strategies to support continual growth
Learn effective approaches for initiating, communicating and inspiring change
Includes 7 hours of self-paced online learning and 14 hours of in-person training over 2 full days, including group discussion and activities.
You’ll receive a certificate upon completion and course credentials to add to your professional portfolio. You’ll also be invited to join a community of practice to share successes, challenges and support as you apply the skills you’ve learned. See the program overview for topics covered and more details
