What: PS We Miss You Memorial Dives
Where: Two Jack Lake
When: Saturday, June 26th @ 10 am
Who: Outlaws Members Only
This event is a time to come together both in remembrance of those dive buddies we've lost and in celebration of the lives they lived. It's also our first group camping event and is the best way to reconnect with everyone after the long off season.
We typically host a group site in Loop 37.
Friday:
Setup and relax around the fire. choosing the volunteers or volun-tolds for setup Saturday morning.
Saturday:
Dive briefing at 10:00 am at Two Jack Lake
No buddy? No problem, we will make sure you have someone to dive with who knows the lake.
Volunteers will head down early to set up. Car pooling is encouraged and we recommend arriving no later than 9:00 am if you want to get a parking spot lakeside.
The Outlaws will provide lunch, drinks and snacks but feel free to bring your own and use our BBQ.
A potluck dinner will be held at 6:30 pm at the group camp site, just watch for the dive flag. (we'll announce what loop after we've been able to book sites).
The evening group fire is usually full of dive stories, whiskey shots and toasts to the fallen and making individual dive plans for Sunday. If you are new and want to dive again on Sunday feel free to ask me to buddy up or to join whatever shenanigan idea I may be talking about.
Sunday:
Thanks for coming! Many of us book sites for Sunday night as well so we can do an informal dive or two on Sunday and head home later in the afternoon.
