The Protecting Florida’s Resources program provides municipal and industry professionals with training in Florida-Friendly LandscapingTM Best Management Practices and related topics applicable to their work.

Bioblitz: using iNaturalist to explore plant and animal life

Info: Gather in teams led by local Extension Agents to explore different habitats within Halpatiokee Regional Park. Info: Dr. Vincent Encomio will share an update on his work with the county to compost sargassum seaweed gathered from Martin County beaches. John Roberts and Yvette Goodiel will present on identification and spot-spray/cut stump management of common weedy and invasive plants.
