Join us at The Metropole Hotel Cork for an elegant evening celebrating the rich flavours, traditions and artistry of French cuisine and cinema.
Taking place on Friday 9th October from 7pm to 10.30pm in the Douglas Vance Suite, Projection Gourmande is a unique immersive dining experience curated by Alliance Française de Cork President Valérie David-McGonnell alongside Trigon Hotels French Executive Chef Alex Petit.
Guests will enjoy a specially designed four-course French dining experience inspired by regional dishes from across France, followed by a screening of the acclaimed French film Sugar & Stars (À la belle étoile, Sébastien Tulard, 2023), a heartwarming cinematic story centred on the journey of a young French chef pursuing his culinary dreams.
Throughout the evening, guests will savour a menu celebrating authentic French flavours and classic techniques in an intimate and atmospheric setting.
