Hello Artists, Makers, Supporters, and Dear Friends,PROJECT WELCOME CENTER
We will be open at Artists & Makers Studios in Rockville on Monday, January 20th, 2025 from 10-5 as a welcome center/gathering place/respite location for people who would like to gather away from televisions and the news with friends, loved ones, and family.
We will have snacks and soft drinks, and will set up additional tables and chairs in the halls, and would appreciate your loan or donation of complete board games, card games, decks of cards, etc. for guests to enjoy. Does anybody have Twister or a plastic bowling set?
Guests will be invited to visit with artists, to hang out and read books from our extensive library, meet new friends, and to spend the day in a gentle, supportive space. Knitting and crafting welcome, bring your favorite crafting project with you if you like.
Other artists & studios in the metro area and beyond are welcome to join us in this effort.
FREE and open to the public.
