• He led the Global Product Development for programs like the Cadillac SRX, Cadillac ATS and Chevrolet Equinox, and managed their lifecycle with a focus on warranty and cost reduction.
• As Chief Engineer, he led the development and launch of the Chevrolet Blazer and Holden Acadia in 2018, achieving top safety and quality performance.
• In 2018, he started working in California’s EV startup scene, helping launch several products on tight budgets.
• He has overseen $5 billion in product launches across several established companies and startups.
• Waqar holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA.
• His expertise includes product planning, engineering, manufacturing, testing, cost optimization, and product lifecycle management.
