Mark your calendars! In July 2026, the Aurora History Museum will open “Proclaiming Colorado’s Black History.” Guided by our mission to engage the community and celebrate local heritage, the museum will collaborate with community leaders to highlight the stories of Black Aurorans. We will be hosting a community roundtable on Wednesday, January 21 from 6-8 p.m. at the Aurora History Museum to gather perspectives and stories for this exhibition. We look forward to working with you to share Aurora’s Black history. In the meantime, please fill out our survey for the exhibit https://EngageAurora.org/BlackHistory
