Marshall Health Network Foundations will host the inaugural PROACT Monster Smash Pickleball Bash on Saturday, Oct. 25, at Barboursville Park, starting at 10 a.m.
The men’s, women’s and mixed-doubles tournament will open with a round-robin format leading into a single-elimination bracket, with beginner, intermediate and advanced divisions available. Check-in and tailgate setup begin at 9 a.m., courts open for warm-ups at 9:30 a.m., and play begins at 10 a.m.
All proceeds from the event will benefit PROACT (Provider Response Organization for Addiction Care and Treatment), a nonprofit 501(c)(3) affiliated with Marshall Health Network. PROACT provides a comprehensive approach to addiction treatment by integrating behavioral, social and medical services for individuals with substance use disorder.
