Preventable - A Community Film Screening
About this Event
Preventable is a documentary produced by the Battered Women's Justice Project (BWJP) with support from the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation. Through survivor testimony and expert insight, it examines how domestic violence and access to firearms intersect — and how lives are lost when warning signs go unaddressed. The film makes the case that these deaths are preventable when systems respond in time.
