With the Victorian election fast approaching it’s important to know where your candidates stand on protecting nature and climate. Do they want to bring back native forest logging? Do they want more national parks and funding for threatened species?
On 28 October, the Wilderness Society Northside Action Group and DCAN are hosting a candidate forum for the seat of Preston so you can ask your candidates these important questions and more.
🗓️ When: Wednesday, 28 October, 7:00pm
📍 Where: Preston Town Hall, 284 Gower Street, Preston
✅ RSVP: www.wilderness.org.au/preston-candidates-forum
In these times of uncertainty for nature and an unstable climate, this is an opportunity to have your voice heard and directly help shape the future of Preston and Reservoir.
All recorded candidates in the Preston electorate have been invited to attend. We have received confirmation that the following candidates will be in attendance: Serena Ashmore (Victorian Socialists), Peita Collard (Animal Justice Party), Nathan Lambert (ALP) and Loki Sangaryan (Greens).
✅ RSVP here: www.wilderness.org.au/preston-candidates-forum
Authorised by The Wilderness Society Victoria Inc, 1/81-87 King William St, Fitzroy VIC 3065.
