About this Event

Learn to be safe and have fun!

Join us for a hands-on workshop on safe USDA pressure canning and pickling methods. Walk away with your very own jar of tomatoes and pickled vegetables!

Pre-registration is required. Class size is limited. Ages 18+. No Cash payment accepted. Pay online using credit or debit. Checks or money orders must be made out to: University of Florida.

Prepare:

  • Bring a sweater or a light jacket if you are likely to get cold
  • Wear clean, comfortable clothing that is not loose-fitting.
  • Wear closed-toe shoes.
  • Tie back long hair
