Create a pressed flower design in a hanging glass frame using flowers grown and pressed at Gruler Gardens! Use it to decorate your home or give it as a gift to someone special. All supplies and materials are provided.
Learn about how to dry flowers and which ones work best for projects. We’ll discuss materials for protecting pressed flowers for display and enjoyment, including different types of frames, resins, and adhesives, and you’ll learn how to repurpose old frames to hold your pressed flower arrangements.
This class is designed for adults and will be held in the Charlevoix Conservation District Community Room at 303 North Street in Boyne City. Because of space limitations, the class is restricted to enrolled participants only. Class length may vary, as I’ve allowed time for breaks and a relaxing, enjoyable pace for all participants.
