Presidio Resident Sustainability Fair

The Presidio Trust is proud to offer a range of sustainability amenities to our residents, furthering the Trust’s commitment to our planet goals and enhancing the resident experience. Recology will accept household hazardous waste, Goodwill will take donations of gently used items, and the Presidio Trust will share information about sustainability improvements coming to the Presidio Go shuttle program and giving out swag! Meet your neighbors and mingle over coffee and breakfast items while building a more sustainable Presidio for all residents. Please read the details about what Recology and Goodwill will accept.

Recology will ONLY accept the following:

• Fluorescent light bulbs

• Household batteries

• Used motor oil

Goodwill will accept the following as donation:

• Clothing

• Household items

• Small furniture (small tables, chair, desk, rugs, lamps, bikes, bedding, books)

• E-waste (TV, computer, phone, monitor, VCRs, DVD players, stereos)

Details:

• Only one box of Hazardous Household Waste per residential address.

• Please bring proof of residing in the Presidio with you for any drop off.

• No drive through drop-off is allowed; please plan on parking nearby and carrying items for drop-off. This is a tabling event with safe space for gathering.

• All items not accepted by Recology household hazardous waste team or Goodwill will need to be properly disposed of by residents.

• Please do not drop off any trash, cardboard, general recycling, broken furniture or any other items not outlined on the approved list. There will be no exceptions.
