We’re excited to offer a two-part canning workshop series in the Kaluna Hearth this late summer. Together, we’ll explore the foundations of safe, seasonal home food preservation through hands-on instruction, printed resources, time for questions, and a finished jar to take home from each workshop.
Part I: Water-Bath Canning
Saturday, August 15th | 1:00–4:00 p.m.
Learn the basics of preserving high-acid foods such as fruits, pickles, salsas, jams, and other seasonal recipes.
Part II: Pressure Canning
Saturday, September 12th | 1:00–5:00 p.m.
Build on the basics and learn how to safely preserve low-acid foods using a pressure canner.
Because these workshops are designed to build on one another, registration will open first for the full two-part series.
Investment: $145 per person
Individual workshop tickets may be released later if space allows. Space is limited to keep the experience hands-on, welcoming, and supportive.
