Preserve Stewards: Tree Care

Help us with our restoration work at this 106-acre property along the Tittabawassee River on July 21st from 5:30 -7 PM!

What we’ll be doing:

Volunteers will help us to maintain current tree plantings by documenting their health and assisting with tree tubing. Volunteers will be working off-trail in tall grass and the woods to assist with tree care during this event. Those under 15 must have a parent present or a chaperone. This event is recommended for ages 10 and up.

What to bring:

Gloves, water, and safety glasses. We will be working outside, so please dress accordingly for the event and weather. Closed toed shoes are required and long pants are recommended. Little Forks Conservancy will provide all necessary materials, tools and safety glasses to those who need them.

Location, Directions, and Time:

The preserve is located off M-20 on E Penrod Street. Head west onto M-20 for about 2 miles, before turning right onto Vance Road. Follow Vance Road to E Penrod Street, which is located at the end of the road on the lefthand side. Follow E Penrod to the end for parking.
