Prescott Valley Public Library & Yavapai County Master Gardeners present: Attracting Birds In-person program, November 14th, 2024.Prescott Valley Public Library will be hosting a program on Attracting Birds in partnership with Yavapai County Master Gardeners on Thursday, November 14th, 2024, from 5:30 to 6:45 pm. We are excited to welcome you to this class, where we will learn about attracting birds.
Come and join us to learn how to transform your outdoor space into a haven for birds! Discover the benefits of attracting birds for:
• pure enjoyment
• education
• lower pollination
• natural pest control
• wildlife conservation
We'll cover easy steps to attract birds, identify common species, and recommend the best plants to keep them coming back.
Presenter: Laurin Pause
Laurin became a Master Gardener in 2019 and has served as the Speakers Bureau Chair for the past two years. She is an avid backyard gardener, applying the information gained to all aspects of caring for her yard and that of her community and promoting good stewardship of our environment.
